Besides if they get it then I still can join under the command of someone better than myself.[/b][/color]  [b]Can you provide a description of the character you are applying to be and the battalion he commands in your own words? - [/b] [b][color=#9b59b6]Well, Commander Bacara was one of the Galactic Army’s toughest and best commanders. To start off he trained his men Hand to Hand combat with droids. If you didn’t know a typical B1-Battle droid weighs a lot more than you’d think. He had a strict “If they aren’t good enough, then they can leave” attitude. As for the 21st Nova Corps and the Marines, they were one of the Galactic Army’s best standard forces. They specialized in boarding other vessels and “Special Terrain operations” Their armour allowed for easy access and better chances of survival in Harsh terrain or weather conditions. Their General was Ki-Adi-Mundi, which is well fitted since if Ki-Adi-Mundi was focused on something he’d no doubt complete it just like the attitude that the Marines have. In all honesty, the Marines are borderline Special Operations[/color] Why should we make you a commander instead of another candidate? - [/b][color=#9b59b6][b]My main reason would be because of my experience in the 21st, on at least 6 different servers I’ve led 21st as Commander Bacara, and at least played as a Galactic Marine on 12 servers. I should mention that because the 21st is my Favourite Regiment, I ended up spending close to 150+ hours reading their lore and stories of the missions they’ve done and completed. Another reason would happen to be the fact that my Commanding abilities are fairly better than most seeking this position, mainly because of my past experience but also my experience as an RCACC Master Warrant Officer in real life. I’ve been the Financial advisor for another CWRP that lasted about one year before dying, and I was the Admiral on that server. I’ve been the Commander for Vader’s Fist. And I’ve been Ki-Adi-Mundi on one other server purely because he was the General of the 21st.[/b][/color] [b]What is your definition of leadership? - [/b][color=#9b59b6][b]My definition of leadership, in my own words, would have to be Loyalty and Obedience. But I feel this question would make much more sense in the terms of “What is a Leader” A leader is someone who can trust his men and someone who can focus on the mission and keep his men’s ideals and safety in mind. A leader is someone who can make the right call when times are tough, a leader is someone who is confident in their abilities and even more confident in their men's abilities. A leader isn’t someone who pulls rank, they will consider all feelings and opinions their men have and they will take it into account they will never shut someone down for having a “stupid” idea, a leader is another nothing without his brothers.[/b][/color]   [b]How serious should a commander be on our server? -[/b][b]  [color=#9b59b6]This is where others would say 100% serious but no, a Commander always needs to have a relaxed side, and always be understanding. On the field, they need to be hardcore, but back at home, they can always have a fun side. It’s never good for Moral to be mean all the time.[/color] How would you punish someone in your battalion who is guilty of general FailRP, as a commander? - [/b][color=#9b59b6][b]Well, in all honesty, depends on the severity. If they were screaming “REEEE!” and mingeing around with no Intent to RP, for me that’s a boot from my regiment. I will not tolerate any Mingey behavior. The last thing they need to be doing is making the server and the regiment bad. If they were normally a nice guy/woman, I would warn them but if it happens again I will not tolerate it ESPECIALLY if it’s in the midst of battle.[/b][/color]   [b]Can you provide a detailed description of how you would run your tryouts as a commander? - [/b][b][color=#9b59b6]I’d broadcast “/comms 21st Nova Corps are hosting tryouts in bay 2. If you think that you can pass then come put yourself to the challenge it will not be easy.”[/color] [color=#9b59b6]I’d then set up an obstacle course, and a shooting range. First I’d go over faces, formations, and General knowledge of the battlefield and typical stuff. Then I’d proceed to question them about the Galactic Marines, things like “Who is our General” “Who is the Commander” “If you are stuck without ammunition and alone, what do you do?”[/color][/b][color=#9b59b6][b]And various other knowledge and situation-based questions. I’d then test their knowledge on strategy and breaching. They [u][i]need [/i][/u]to know how to handle dire situations. I will teach them a saying and that saying is “Victory or Death.” (Bacarra trained his men to be the best so they will die the best.)[/b][/color] [color=#9b59b6][b]After the intelligence part, I’d inform them either to my homemade range or to the on-base one. They will demonstrate their marksmanship. [/b][/color][color=#9b59b6][b]After that, I’d run them through a course. [/b][/color][color=#9b59b6][b]Once completed I will inform them of their strike and if I see them fit to be considered a Marine. The Marines will have a two-strike system. The only way to get around that strike system is to prove your dedication to the role, So what if you can’t react to the targets fast enough, who cares if it takes you 5 minutes to do a course, if you are determined to get the role then you are worthy of that role, but once in the position of Galactic Marine. Your work must show off, in other words, you will be tested and you will be monitored.[/b][/color] [b]As a commander, how would you have your soldiers act in public? - [/b][color=#9b59b6][b]On duty, they are to remain silent for the most part. My NCO's and my fellow Officers that are in the 21st will be strictly monitoring them, and they will communicate when needed. Off duty they are still needed to act proper and professional, the last thing anyone wants is a 12-year-old Marine screaming at the top of his lungs and disrespecting his regiment. [/b][/color][color=#9b59b6][b]To new CT’s they are to remain professional and calm. Well, I feel bad for ruling this application obsolete for commander, and as such, we'll be leaving it up for the sake of an officer application. This application is extremely organized, written, and there's clear and obvious passion that was put into it, and there's no questions regarding your love of the 21st Nova Corps. I know how big you are on the Corps and I personally want nothing more than to see you running it alongside Bolt, in honesty. So, for the sake of this application acting as one for a 21st officer position, this gets my enthusiastic [color=#2ecc71][b][size=150]+1[/size][/b][/color].
